This example screen shot shows two very powerful features of Saphir for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
The first is the way tables are grouped in the Application Hierarchy, in this case the ‘Address Book’.
The second feature is the ability to show related tables for any selected table.
The F0111 - ‘Address Book ‘Who’s Who’ been selected in the Application Hierarchy and then the option to show tables related to F0111 has been selected.
The ‘popup’ window shows ‘parent’ related tables in the top half and ‘child’ related at the bottom.
This capability to show related tables is only available because Saphir can automatically infer relationships from the JD Edwards metadata.
This significantly enhances the usability of the standard set of data definitions, which have no relationship information available. |
