4th September 2006 - Silwood Technology announces release of new Siebel Analytics metadata intelligence tool.

ASCOT, Berkshire U.K., 4th September 2006 - Silwood Technology Ltd today announced the expansion of its enterprise application metadata intelligence tool suite to provide Siebel Analytics data modeling capabilities.

"This is our 3rd product for the Siebel market and builds on the success of our Saphir for Siebel and Pheryt tools to deliver the most comprehensive data modeling support for the Siebel development & analyst community.

We talked with many of our Siebel customers about the documentation & modeling challenges they experience on Siebel BI /Analytics work.

What emerged was very similar to the challenges faced by the SAP BW community i.e. the need to document existing Analytics cubes and to integrate the Siebel Analytics design & management process with their enterprise data modeling and metadata management initiatives.”

“We have extended the Saphir tool suite to provide the same intuitive metadata analysis capability against Siebel Analytics cubes and the ability to export the results to data modeling tools for creating ‘Star Schema’ diagrams.

Saphir for Siebel Analytics is already achieving its design goal of helping customers use data modeling to better understand their existing cubes and improve their new cube design and development process.

As with the Pheryt toolset, we architected Saphir for Siebel Analytics to meet the most immediate analysis & documentation functionality, as defined by our group of development customers. We have however taken particular care to ensure that we have a platform from which we can easily build a wide range of additional functionality.

Silwood Technology is also extending its cube data modeling service based upon the Saphir Technology, to include Siebel Analytics cubes.

For a fee, non Saphir customers can have data models of their Siebel Analytics or SAP BW cubes either in PDF format or in the data modeling tool of their choice.
