Silwood will enhance the capabilities of MID’s smartfacts solution by enabling data models from large, complex SAP, Oracle, Salesforce and other Enterprise applications to be incorporated quickly and easily into the platform which delivers a single source for enterprise data models regardless of their origin.
Ascot, UK, June, 2015 – MID GMBH smartfacts solution provides a repository where models which can originate in multiple tools are integrated to produce a comprehensive image of an enterprise’s business architecture. Users can launch process, data and architecture models regardless of the tool format on the smartfacts web-based platform.
smartfacts ensures that models are easy to find and reuse. It also provides comprehensive collaboration and communication capabilities in the cloud which means that models from sources including ARIS, Enterprise Architect, Microsoft Visio, MID Innovator and many other tools can be shared and leveraged across different users and departments.

Silwood’s product, Safyr® will provision Smartfacts with models from SAP, Salesforce and Oracle systems. The combined solution will take advantage of Safyr’s Pre-configured Subject Areas which, due to Safyr’s unique discovery architecture, are based on the system as implemented including customisations to the application’s data structures.
Users also have the ability to create their own Subject Areas which reflect their own specific business need and which can be stored in the smartfacts platform.
