SILWOOD ANNOUNCE IMMEDIATE AVAILABILITY OF SAFYR® VERSION 6.2
ASCOT, Berkshire U.K., 21st July 2014 – Silwood Technology Ltd today announces the release of Safyr 6.2, the latest version of the world’s most advanced solution for liberating metadata from the largest and most complex Enterprise applications from SAP, Oracle, Salesforce and others. As organisations seek to succeed in leveraging their investment in systems from SAP, Oracle, Salesforce and others in Data Warehouse, Big Data, Master Data Management, Data Integration and Data Governance projects it becomes ever more important that they have easy and intuitive access to the data structures and models which are the foundations of those applications.
With Safyr 6.2, Silwood has advanced the capabilities of the product by introducing an additional module which provides support for extracting metadata from Salesforce which reflects that application’s growing importance as a critical system of record for many organisations. In addition Silwood have developed what is described as an ‘ETL for metadata’ approach to allow metadata from virtually any other packaged application to be loaded, as implemented by the customer, into Safyr for scoping and analysis. In a further development, Silwood have now made available a number of pre-configured Safyr Subject Areas for SAP and JD Edwards which run against the application as implemented. These are available to existing supported customers on request and further reduce the time taken by analysts and architects to locate tables and relationships pertinent to their needs.
