Safyr® for SAP is a powerful exploration tool to enable SAP customers to understand and manage the metadata in their own customized SAP system or systems, which is critical for effective delivery of a wide range of Information led projects.
Safyr is particularly useful when a customer needs to rapidly identify the tables and relationships behind key business ‘artifacts’ (e.g. Bill of Materials).
Where there are multiple SAP instances, Safyr's comparison features can be used to quickly identify the differences between these systems.
Safyr can work with any ABAP-based SAP system including ECC, CRM, SRM and S/4HANA.
“…I enjoyed using SAFYR because it accomplished complex tasks and yet, and most importantly, it is easy to use … a rare and valuable quality in today’s world.”
Rocky West, Boeing
Safyr reveals details of all the tables in the SAP database, including any added by the SAP user (normally 'Z' tables).
All the information displayed are drawn from the SAP Data Dictionary, in the language the user chooses. It's easy to search the tables and to see the numbers of relationships to other tables in the SAP system, and the number of Rows in each table.
Each table can be expanded to show all the Fields, the Primary Key and Foreign Keys and a detailed description of each Field, all based upon the definitions in the SAP Data Dictionary.

Safyr extracts Relationship information to help the user understand how SAP joins tables. Using this information, details of the related tables for a given table can be displayed. In addition, its easy to filter out any of the related tables that do not contain data.
Safyr doesn't just show details of Tables and Relationships. It also harvests metadata on SAP Components, Development Classes, Programs, Functions and Transactions. These are revealed in a searchable tree structure, making it easy to find, for example, which Tables are referenced or updated by a given Program.
Tables can be grouped into Subject Areas with Safyr and then visualised as an Entity Relationship diagram, either using Safyr's built-in ERDiagrammer, or a range of popular data modelling tools including ERwin, ER/Studio and PowerDesigner.
An accurate and relevant SAP data model will often be an important step in understanding SAP data. Request a SAP Data Model that best fits your requirement.
Not only does Safyr let you browse and build your own Subject Areas, but we deliver over 100 'pre-built' Subject Areas based upon popular grouping of SAP Tables. These give users a fast-start to quickly identifying tables for key business domain areas. These include, Accounts Payable, Bill of Materials, Quality Management and many more.
