New Safyr Release
Safyr Version 7.7 introduces the extraction of new objects from SAP BW, a ‘metadata changed’ date feature and improvements to Safyr for Salesforce
This new Safyr release adds the extraction of new objects from SAP BW. It also delivers a ‘Metadata changed’ date feature and the capability to extract more objects from Salesforce.
It is common for SAP BW to be one of the critical components of a data catalog, governance, lineage or warehouse migration project.
In order to provide users with the most comprehensive solution for SAP BW and SAP BW/4HANA, Safyr now extracts the following new objects.
In addition, Safyr also reveals the internal lineage for these new objects. For example, it is simple to identify which InfoProviders are based on a specific DataSource.
‘Metadata changed’ date
To provide additional features for change control and data governance we have introduced a ‘Metadata changed’ changed date at table level for SAP, Siebel, Oracle EBS and PeopleSoft systems.
This attribute can be used to show which Tables have been updated in a given time period.
For Salesforce systems, the ‘Metadata Change Date/Time’ is only available for custom tables and attributes.
Safyr for Salesforce
Safyr 7.7 now supports the extraction of Field-level Descriptions from custom tables.
In addition, the available range of Salesforce metadata API versions supported has also been extended to include version 52.
